A Legacy Since 1909
PCEA Tumutumu Hospital traces its roots to the Church of Scotland mission established at Tumutumu in the early twentieth century. From a small mission dispensary, the hospital grew into a full referral and teaching facility serving Nyeri County and the wider region.
Milestones
- 1909 — Mission station established at Tumutumu, including an early clinic and education work.
- Mid-1900s — Expansion into full hospital services with wards, maternity and surgical care.
